You are a right-wing extremist.

Yesterday, the Freedom Alliance, a 5 star U.S. charitable organization, posted a copy of the Department of Homeland Security's report on right-wing extremism. This created so much attention that it was impossible to access their website - I would expect their server crashed because I was trying to access their website in the early hours of the morning with no success.

Here is the report as well as Oliver North's response to the report. The two points that really hit home with me from North's response are first, that if you are Christian than you are a right-wing extremist. 78.5% of Americans are Christian, and presumably more who do not affiliate with any organized religion are also Christian. Not all Christian's would agree with his reasoning, however, some of the fundamentals of Christian doctrine are being attacked as extremist. If you are pro-life, or if you are against gay marriage you are an extremist.

Second, to quote directly from the report, “lone wolves and small terrorist cells embracing violent rightwing extremist ideology are the most dangerous domestic terrorism threat in the United States.” Now, perhaps they had been watching "First Blood" or "Son of Rambow" the night before, but this seems too far fetched. I want to quote North here as I think he makes a better statement about this than I am capable. "According to this DHS “Assessment,” the most dangerous threat we face here at home isn’t from radical imams preaching violence in U.S. mosques and madrassas, Islamists recruiting in our prisons, Somali terrorists enticing young immigrants to become suicide bombers or Hamas, Hezbollah or al Qaeda operatives plotting mass murder. No, according to DHS, the real threat comes from what our government labels “rightwing extremist ideology.”"

Yikes! Here is the URL - I cannot seem to get a hyperlink to work, but if I can figure it out I'll use one too.
